Women Sowing Life is a group of Chiapas artisans who believe in diversity and our sense of community, and are committed to the love for our families.
The cooperative includes more than 200 women from communities in Zinacantán (Nachig, Bochojbo-Zinacantán, Bochojbo Alto, Paste, and Elambo) where each one has different skills. Some of us embroider by hand infill or cross-stitch and others maintain the ancestral tradition of the backstrap loom weaving technique.
